Janet & Kay had such a fabulous time representing Eagley and the Community Band and Choir at the King’s Garden Party at Buckingham Palace & felt incredibly lucky to have been invited to attend such a special occasion. They had a brilliant spot and even got to see King Charles up close! It was wonderful to take in all the pomp and ceremony, from the Yeomen of the Guard to the gentlemen in their top hats. The Royal Marines Band & and bugles of the Rifles were fantastic, playing so many tunes we recognised and loved.

The rain kindly stayed away, and they really enjoyed chatting with so many inspiring people, all of whom have made such meaningful contributions to their communities.

A truly unforgettable day!
