Fresh from receiving The King’s Award For Voluntary Service 2025 less than three weeks ago, we have now been contacted by Brass Band World magazine and are to be the featured band in the December issue of this global publication. It will be the first time Eagley has ever been featured in this way by BBW. 

Niki Bland, Director of Kapitol Promotions which owns Brass Band World, got in touch with our MD Chris to pass on her congratulations and invited Eagley to be the featured band in the magazine’s Christmas 2025 issue. 

The honour of being the featured band on the centre pages in the Christmas issue of BBW has come as another huge and very welcome surprise. It will be another first for Eagley. The featured centre pages of every BBW edition are almost always reserved for the huge global bands such as Brighouse and Rastrick, Grimethorpe, Black Dyke, Foden’s, and the World famous Championship Section bands, and this especially applies to the Christmas issue.
