Many members of our band, both present and past, have spent an amazing month being involved in the Octagon Theatre production of Brassed Off throughout the whole of September. With almost every night sold out and great reviews in the press, Eagley shared over the three weeks of performances with our friends from Wingates Band and out of all the players involved, it was our Chair and Solo Horn player Deb Lyons who undertook the most performances from either band. 

Our musicians featured throughout the Brassed Off run (please see the Gallery link) were Lynsey Hayes, Steve Wheeler, Becca Crompton, Sarah Ferguson, Sophie Dunlevy, Deb Lyons, Caitlin Stranks, Kay Brannon, Tina Banks, Dave Mort, Will Jordan and Adam John with past Eagley members Chris Atty and Steve Breen also involved, both of whom were also part of the Eagley team the last time Brassed Off was staged at the Octagon ten years ago, in 2014.

Lots of fun was had both on stage and back stage and many of the band members who could not commit to the Brassed Off project, together with many members of our Community Choir and Community Band, all came to watch on various nights throughout the run and thoroughly enjoyed watching us play.
