Earlier this month we at Eagley Band applied to local Community Liaison Christine Baldwin of the Asda Foundation based at their Astley Bridge store, requesting the Foundation’s help to purchase new music stands for our massed concerts with Community Band.

To our welcome and great surprise, not only did the Asda Foundation approve our request for help in purchasing the much needed music stands, they agreed to purchase them in full, all £570.

The photo shows a number of our players pictured before band rehearsal last week, many of whom play in both the main band twice each week and Saturday Community Band each weekend.
