For the first time in seven years, we at Eagley Band will be performing in the magnificent building and acoustic of Bolton Parish Church! Our Saturday evening date for the concert is easy to remember too – and we’re not joking – it’s Saturday April 1st at 7.30pm!
As with all of our Victoria Hall concerts (we have two more booked in later this year as always), our programme for the April Parish Church concert will feature popular and well known music throughout the whole evening which everyone will know and superb contributions by our Community Choir and the combined forces of Eagley Band, Community Band and Community Choir after the interval, all conducted by our MD Chris Wormald. Featured soloists will include Lynsey Hayes (Principal Cornet), Janet Walsh (Flugel Horn) and Caitlin Stranks (Euphonium).
With tickets at just £5 as always, strictly limited in number to less than 500, and with a completely free car park right outside the doors on the same level with no need for any coins, bank or credit cards, phone apps or technology of any kind (and lots of additional free car parking in all of the adjacent side streets after 6pm on Saturdays), the evening promises to be uplifting, rousing and fun as always, with audience involvement guaranteed!
Tickets are available and on sale now from Booth’s Music Shop in Churchgate (in full view of the magnificent church), our Eagley Band President Mr Gerry Russell (Telephone 07764 826233), from all of the instrumentalists and singers in Eagley Band, Community Choir and Community Band, or pay on the door at the last minute if the concert hasn’t sold out in advance.
Please come and see us if you are free on Saturday April 1st; our tickets are the most reasonably priced for a great night out featuring Bolton’s oldest and most historic brass band!
(The concert will end at 9.40pm)
