Music made famous by artists such as Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers, all the way through to Ed Sheeran will be featured, with a healthy contribution from musicals, musical films and musical theatre included; Singing In The Rain, Anything Goes, Autumn Leaves, The Continental, Always On My Mind, I Could Have Danced All Night, Let’s Face The Music & Dance, A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square right through to A Chorus Line.
There will also be a very special performance of ‘Mars’ from ‘The Planets’ by Gustav Holst which was composed in the years leading up to 1922 and one of the most popular pieces of ‘live’ music performed throughout the last 100 years.
The concert will commence at 7.30pm and finish at 9.40pm. All profits from the evening are to go to Rotary Charities.
